Get this: I’m a fashion blogger. I live in London. I love vintage shopping. Yet I had never visited Brick Lane, the infamous East London street with all its quirky markets and amazing art exhibitions before today. My friend Stephanie has been trying to take me there for a long time now & I must say that I was totally blown away. The food was absolutely amazing – I had buffalo wings from The Orange Buffalo (so so tasty!), a very cute red velvet cupcake and a Japanese chicken skewer. More importantly though, I have finally acquired a camouflage jacket, as well as a House of Holland-esque winter skirt and a flowery headband. Very pleased.
Brick Lane is one of the edgiest, coolest parts of London I have ever seen – including Camden! If you’re ever around, just don your creepers, oversized hipster glasses and a leather rucksack and hit the market. You won’t be disappointed.
PS: To my great pleasure, I was photographed twice in the course of the day. Hopefully I’ll be able to upload the photos soon :) Note to self: must get business cards printed ASAP.
