I’ve been addicted to the Foals lately courtesy of my boyfriend who’s been playing the band in his ipod speakers whenever I ride in his car. I ended up getting it in my ipod and today, the song played after I put my ipod on shuffle mode since I could not decide on what to wear so I had my ipod do the choosing for me.

I bestowed yet again the decision making power to my ipod after extreme boredom has led me to play yet again the IPOD game. I’ve played this around 5x already and the funny thing is, my ipod always knows the answers to important life questions. Scroll down in this entry to see how you can play the IPOD game too!

Anyway,I wore this military structured jacket by uber-fabulous designer John Herrera since 1) it seemed appropriate to the song my ipod chose for me and 2) we were watching Valkyrie and I wanted to dress all soul-ja since it was a war movie and all. Made it all the more military by adding a vintage mother of pearl and silver broach I found in an antique furniture shop in Tiendesitas years ago for P100 or USD 2. Wore my liquid leggings and a black shift dress from Forever 21 under the coat.

Ate a high-calorie but delicious meal at Elbert’s Philly Cheese Steak, a newly opened sandwich joint at Rockwell byManila’s own steak enthusiast and guru. I highly recommend it. Absolutely to die for!

Got depressed after watching Valkyrie, I began to remember the BBC documentary I bought in the DVD store in Powerplant and watched entitled Auschwitz. It was a three hour documentary showcasing the horrors done at the concentration camp during the 2nd World War. After watching it, i got so depressed and outraged. I thought I was okay then Valkyrie kind of reminded me about it again. Sigh.
