Over the weekend I went shopping in Manchester with my best friends, and ?after spotting these printed trousers on sale in a vintage shop for £5, I felt like I had to own them. They’re the kind of piece that’s so hideous and unflattering that they’re almost beautiful (come to think of it, they have a certain MC Hammer-esque vibe about them). What I love the most about them is the oldschool vibe that the unique print exudes, which is a look that I’m really into as I’m sure the the majority of you are aware of. They currently have the quintessential ‘vintage clothes’ smell, as they haven’t yet been washed due to the fact that I couldn’t wait to wear them. As disgusting as that makes me appear, I didn’t mind, because I’m probably the only human being in existence that is actually quite fond of the odour. Whilst in Manchester we payed a visit to Lush to check out their newly released Christmas stock, and, me being me, had a ridiculously embarasing experience that left me fleeing the store as rapidly as is humanly possible. As I was reaching to put a product back on one of the shelves, I accidentally knocked over an entire bucket full of water with my elbow. Water practically flooded the store, and I was forced to spend the remainder of the day with a soggy foot. Please tell me that this has happened to you before, just so that I don’t feel so stupidly clumsy.
I also recently purchased this cropped polo neck top from Ebay for a mere £4. I’d been coveting several from various different shops, however they were retailing for at least double the price of mine. If, like I was, you’re currently looking for a similar top, then I highly urge you to check out Ebay beforehand, as the quality of this top is fantastic, and it only cost me a fraction of the price. I think simple tops like these are a staple for anybody to have in their wardrobe, as they could be paired with practically any item of clothing. I’m looking forward to styling mine with my black skater skirt, a leather jacket and a pair of boots with lashings of jewellery.
Hugs and kisses, Sarah xo
