One of my favourite things to do during the English summer is to go on a historic walkabout. On this day, we went to see Warwick castle, just a few minutes drive from Birmingham. It’s only a small town but it’s cobbled streets and wooden frame houses with thatched roofs are a sight to behold. We had lunch in Strada.
The weather was glorious, without the slightest chill in the air. I finally got a warm enough day to wear these multicoloured tie-dye trousers from Zara. I am approximately 5’10 so they are a few inches too short on me so I decided to fold them up even more to get a just-below-the-knee-cropped effect. I paired it with a white vest from H&M with paisley inlay. The vest is rather see-through and I wore a pink bra underneath to be a bit playful for summer. The hint of pink picks up the pink in the trousers quite nicely. Over the vest I wore the light blue denim shirt from H&M with the sleeves folded. The bag is faux rattan (plastic) from Primark, a total steal! The sandals are silver leather with a wooden clog heel. The faux pearI earrings and necklace are from Accessorize and the bangles are from my African collection. I totally enjoyed this walkabout :-)
