What I really love about my mom’s closet is that each piece in there is unique and absolutely original. Don’t get me wrong, you know how much I love massive affordable brands – you’ll sure have noticed how often I wear Zara items – because you can find all the latest trends in big variety and of course, really good prices. However it’s quite often that you end up owning something similar with everybody else out there. That’s why it’s nice to also have some pieces in your wardrobe that although are probably more difficult to find and of course more expensive as well, you know that it’s something you’re not going to see to anybody else (well you may do, but the chances are much less). And the best is that you can mix and match them with your affordable clothing so finally the result looks fashionable but still with a special touch. It’s a good deal after all, isn’t it? So back to the look, the print and blue-green colors on this dress and the beautiful retro shape made me felt for it right away. Wearing it with pointed pumps, basket bag and cat-eye sunglasses for a totally retro look and final touch the red lipstick because well, it was needed.
