Another week, another gift from the lovely folks at Sugarlips. This time I opted for an outerwear piece, the Blushing Draped Blazer – an elegantly cut waterfall blazer in a delicious salmon pink tone. Now, I’m very much a monochrome girl and co-ordinating colours doesn’t come naturally to me. I love pale pinks, as they are just effortlessly sweet and innocent but I find them a challenge to style.
And I can now say I’m a salmon pink convert!
Slouchy cut garments, especially those in muted tones, need toughening up and black leather is the fail safe partner. A fash sum to always be remembered is: Slouchy blouse/jacket+ leather+bare legs= instant modern chic silohette.
A big statement necklace with lots of gems, some wrist candy and sunglasses are all you need accessories-wise. A black leather mulberry style satchel wouldn’t go a miss either. And don’t be afraid of bare legs and white stilettos- it doesn’t have to look tacky.
