The Spring/Summer 2013 Elie Tahari collection had an uptown-girl-at-the-beach feel. The looks had an easy, casual-chic appeal with elegant-yet-eyecatching prints (the watercolor print blazer being so perfect for the spring), luxurious textures and a wide range of bright colors including beachy blues and greens and pops of coral.

It’s all in the details
Each piece looks beautiful from afar and is even more delightful upon closer inspection; With details like floral crochet knitting, laser-cut patterns and bump-knit texture, looks like this can go from business to everyday effortlessly.

Trends
Elie Tahari has a way of keeping looks cool and classic while keeping it current but not overly trendy. With peplum waistlines, mirror printing, sheer pleated overlay skirts and bold prints on unexpected classics (double-breasted blazer), the looks are what women want to wear right now who want to be trendy but not obvious about it.
