downtown hipster

after closely watching vanessa from gossip girl, i realized that much of my inspiration came from her. i just love how she can carelessly pull off outfits. i think there should be more attention given to the underdog of the lower east side. therefore the title of this blog is in a way dedicated to V, “downtown hipster”

i was thinking about surprising the bf after he was done work today at his office downtown and maybe grab a drink at a local bar. however, the weather was bone-chilling and after sitting in class from 9-4 and getting bombarded with more deadlines – i decided i’d wait til tomorrow.

wearing my vibrant pashmina – there are gold threads weaved in (i love the attention to detail) and my cowboy boots. the rest is what i’d wear normally – when im not teaching of course!
