A closer look at what I wore on the first official day of covering MAGIC. I found this little number (and by that I mean ze dress) at the Buffalo Exchange in Albuquerque along with dozens of other treasures throughout my southwest adventure. I felt inclined to use the belt in a new way. Maybe it was my inner DIY girl coming out, but I opted to tie it around my beloved Panama hat, in hopes that it would fulfill my craving to look sharp and feel chic. I’ve developed a deep affinity towards matching separates whether it be blazers and skirts or pajama pants and tops, I definitely see myself leaning towards heavy prints and classically cut clothing come fall. And now that I think about it, coupling this with my leather Austin Tote (c/o of my contacts at MAGIC!), autumnal tones were really present in this look. I guess this was my way of sporting my fall desires… in the desert. Who knew?
