Forgive. I tried to play around with Little Red Riding Hood because I felt like somehow I channeled her with my red polka dotted oversized shirt. Heehee. Went out with my high school friends for lunch (and as usual, they came unannounced so I had to rush to put together a suitable outfit!)
Forgive again. I know I’m squinting in the photo, it was just too sunny and I could barely open them. Had to force myself to open my eyes, I have yet to experiment with shut eye portraits. Anywaaay. . .:D
This outfit is pretty interesting for me as it contains some details that I normally do not don. For instance:
1. The color red. I use red for makeup and a few accessories, but when it comes to clothes, I have very few pieces since they’ve been replaced with shades of blue and purple. Lalala. I used to love red when I was in high school, even more when Gossip Girl started airing since Blair’s control color is red (and/or yellow/orange). But I’ve come to love shades of blue and the more subdued tones. Heehee. But I love this top, the tiny white dots are so cute and it’s just soooo comfortable.
2. The skimpy shorts. It has a really fun detail, and it was made to be that way, I don’t know if you’d notice, but I won’t tell hihi. I posted in one of the topics in the Forum that I try to avoid wearing such, but today is an exception. I experimented creating a long silhouette through the illusion of a vertical line created by the space between the legs going up towards the white top lined by the shirt. Did it work? Do I look taller? hahaha. /petite girl problems
But, I still love this look. I got to jazz it up with some cute arm candy. And finally I got to wear my favorite custom made espadrille sandals once again (rainy season will hurt these babies). Weee.
