Spent the long holiday with my boyfriend and his family. We were very fortunate because the weather cooperated with us as it delightfully gave us warmth and sunshine, we were worried it might not because it has been quite rainy during the rest of the week. And well, I was worried even more because I did not prepare outfits for the rain. Heehee. /smiles sheepishly.
Yup, there’s the heart printed skirt again. I adore it so much that I decided to wear it again for the very special weekend. Besides, it’s lightweight so it’s easy to pack. And this is another top from Artwork. It’s actually a really long top, the length’s slightly above my knees! But I tucked it in and slightly pulled out some length so that it would look blouse-y. The shoes are from Liliw, Laguna. I really love the shoes that they make. They make really good designs and their shoes are of high quality. Proud Lagunense here! Hahaha. I also wore some arm candy to break the dark tones and to complement my graphic top.
Tip: I wear my skirts right up to a notch higher than my waist to create an illusion of longer legs to make me look taller. But I don’t add on a wide belt as it would defeat the purpose. Instead, I wear a blouse or a blouse-y top and hide the top part of the skirt. And yes, there’s the trick of pulling the sleeves up to my elbows. Hihi.
