Whew :) Just got back from my organization’s anniversary night. Our theme was PuSIKAT (Pussycat) because we’re celebrating our 9th year, 9 lives, teehee :)
I originally went as Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat, complete with my DIY Cat in the Hat top hat, big red bow and chunky gloves (photos to be posted soon!). And this is my second look for the night. I really wanted to go as Hello Kitty for my second look, but I cannot tolerate the amount of red and pink! So there. I’m Miss Kitty, wearing my favorite shade of purple and my favorite pair of shoes. I’m also loving Dottie, the skirt. It’s just soooo cute. I’m really thankful I can pull off cutsie patootsie looks without looking tacky or trying hard (do you agree? hehehe). Miss Kitty is the name of my pet kitten, and I copied the shape of her ears to make the headband. See what I did there? Copy cat! Hahaha.
I’ve been doing a lot of DIY stuff. Just check out my blog soon, I’ll be posting them. This kitty headband is my favorite DIY piece. It’s easily adjustable so that the ears can be positioned according to preference.
