Thessaloniki is one of my favorite cities in Greece, it is the perfect place to have fun and can offer pretty much anything you look for, from great restaurants and eating spots to lovely cafes. And shopping is really good there as well, except from Athens it’s the city with the largest variety of boutiques and shops in Greece. That’s why even though it’s not my hometown or the town where I study, I get to visit it quite often. I have the greatest time every time I’m there and I always want to visit my favorite spots in the town. One of them is Mon Frere. It’s an absolutely wonderful French cafe in the center of the town, with a lovely romantic decoration and a really sweet atmosphere. You’re definitely going to love it once you’re in it I can tell you. Also it always offers pastries like delicious tarts, croissants or cookies to have your coffee with, which is a really good thing for me. I love having pastries with my coffee or tea while chatting and laughing, it’s the little things that make the difference. So for my look of the day I chose a lovely ladylike fuchsia dress combined with jewelry and a mint bag. But instead of heels, which would probably be my choice, I decided to go for these amazing Dolce Vita sandals. It looks kind of more effortless this way (and much more comfortable of course), yet still elegant and feminine. I really loved it this way and I’ll probably start wearing my ladylike dresses with sandals for everyday looks. It’ll be a nice version of casual chic, don’t you think?
