Prom Pink

Hello!

I never thought I’d ever wear bubble gum pink and black together again, ever, because that’s so Betsey Johnson/Avril Lavigne/Hot Topic (How GREAT is it that Avril Lavigne got engaged to that Nickelback guy?). My pink organza skirt is from Chictopia Shop. The store is called Love Martini and they had this skirt that I just needed to have because it reminded me of a prom/bridesmaid skirt. I decided to dress it down with simple black ankle boots and my fuzzy sweater.

So if I were to get asked to prom I’d wear a short pink dress with an organza skirt just like this one. Crossing my fingers that I get asked.

P.S. There’s a good post by Sarah on EIU today that talks about “dressing your age”. I honestly think about how I dress and if that will change when I hit 30 (shudder) but I would hope not! Read the article here.
