Peplum & Puppies

I have been gathering ideas for what to wear to dinner for our wedding anniversary next month, and this Pop Couture Prunella Polka Dot Peplum Dress is definitely a candidate. I love the sweet peplum style and the flirty green dots, which I decided to play against with my yellow statement necklace. San Diego was recently blasted with a heat wave {as I know much of the US was as well!} and this strapless bandeau neckline will be a nice style in case we have more hot weather next month. I also paired my peplum dress with Mary Jo Matsumoto nail polish in Wild Beach Iris. I really loved how the green dots looked with this lovely shade of purple. Although this shade is from the summer Beachcomber Trio, it will be absolutely perfect transitioning to Fall… especially since purple is a trendy shade for this coming season.
