Just a Little Kick

One of my friends from my high school journalism class has a start-up photography business, so she took some pictures of me at this cute little farm park not too far from where I live. It was lots of fun and a great way to spend a summer afternoon.
I’m wearing a thrifted off-white dress with a straw hat, my habitual bracelets and the combat boots my mother used in basic training for her time in the military.
Having short hair, I tend to overcompensate by wearing really feminine clothes. I did that here with the dress, but decided to give the look a little more of my own personality by adding the boots to such a girly look.
