After a truly awful moving experience yesterday I decided to start fresh for Monday.
In the spirit of High/Low, my top is Banana Republic from three (four?) years ago, but my skirt is Kaufman Franco and does the most beautiful blousing in the breeze.
High. Low.
I started the day excited for the office (I know, what’s wrong with me?) but ended it quite upset…
See, the man who set up my ex and me just called (he’s a photographer who works with me) and mentioned he’d run into said Ex, just a few days ago. Ex is going to Argentina to shoot his new film and ostensibly is fine.
Me? I ended up crying in the bathroom.
High. Low.
*Below a photo from before the move. I am wearing two thin James Perse jersey dresses and an Elle Mcpherson bra. The shoes I stole from the Hotel Gansevoort when I was there on vaca a few weeks back. They are the only comfortable pair of flats I own. (which is kind of sad, given the money I spend on shoes!)
Reasons the move was insanity:
1. No AC, headlights, seatbelts, windshield wipers, locks, or rear view mirrors.
2. I sang along to Bonnie Rait. LOUDLY.
3. We were caught in an incredibly terrifying hail/thunderstorm for an hour.
4. The UHaul also leaks. A lot.
