I FINALLY got a tripod for my video camera that also takes pictures. I hate it because it has 16 mega pixels and you can see every flaw, but what can you do? I’m still trying to figure out how to work it. I bought it last Thanksgiving when all the Black Friday deals were going on. It was a steal and I thought I could put it to use whenever I go to a concert. So this will be my temporary camera until I get another one. Here we were at the Wicker Park Fest last Sunday. My weekend was kind of sour, but this made up for it. Now that I’m alone, I remember how me and my ex did all sorts of things together. I wish that was the case with my girlfriends, but I know it’s hard to make plans when we all have other commitments. My Friday was a complete mess. I was having a horrible day, and thought I was going to meet up with my friends. No such luck. On Saturday, I felt really down. My girlfriend from Italy and I finally caught up on Skype and she made me feel better. “If you can’t get a hold of anyone, why don’t you go to the beach by yourself? You shouldn’t be wasting a beautiful day because no one’s around”, she said. I knew she was right and that’s what I did. I made it down to the beach and did a lot of people watching. I also did a lot of walking which I’m glad because my legs were sore the next day. I love a good exercise especially when it’s at your own pace. Sunday after church, my friends decided to go to a pool to catch some rays. We made it down to the Wicker Park Fest and ended the night there. Summer is going by too quickly for me. I have to start making plans for the upcoming months on my living situation and on my life.
