Started the day quite hilariously, actually. After my cup of yogurt, I stumbled across an old Filipino movie on tv. I seriously got glued to the screen. It was this typical aspirational story of a kid who grew up in the province but dreamed to be the success story of his town. It had the most fantastic elements — Romantic discovery of two best friends, parental issues, dreaming big, failing big, and rising big. With all its cheesy lines, bad outfits, and insane art direction, it was just what i needed. I can’t even remember the title of the movie but man, you guys just need to see it to understand what I mean. And as the protagonist realized that failure was just a stepping stone to success, I realized I was gonna be effing late for my class. Great. So I went black and white with a color accent through my shoes.
Another busy day. I only had one class today but had to run a couple of menial errands. Luckily, my outfit was quite appropriate for it.
I’ve actually promised myself to stop shopping for a while but while I was in Rockwell, I discovered this new shoe store that just opened. It’s not a new brand here in the phils. They just opened a store in Rockwell, this mall that I frequent and I got curious. I never noticed that they have a couple of cute designs. Again, curiosity killed the cat. I checked it out, found a pair, saw the price, and knew i just had to buy it. I highly recommend Charles and Kieth as a go to place for cute footwear at a ridiculously inexpensive price.
The purchase proved to be worth it when I got a call from my mom saying we had an early family dinner. Luck was by my side again when I saw that I stuck a clutch in my everyday book bag. (because I was too lazy to transfer the stuff in it). I changed into my new heels, wore my clutch, and thus, simplistic metamorphosis. All set for dinner.
I was so tired when I got home, took a “nap”, woke up and it was already 11pm. This explains why i’m still blogging at 4am in the morning.
