Hello! Here are a few more snapshots from last weekend at my lake house. I styled an outfit perfect for a game of croquet. I started with this yellow, retro bikini- it is too hot here in Virginia for much else! I paired it with a denim button down tied around my waist as a skirt, a floppy white summer hat and bold red lips. For me, this is an ideal summer look for a day lounging around outside. Just don’t forget the SPF!

Thrifty tip: Think outside of the box. I wore my denim button down as a skirt and was able to create a look that I have never done before. If you are falling into a clothing rut, then try wearing your clothing in a new, creative way. Wear that shirt as a skirt or that maxi skirt as a dress. When you open up your mind to new ideas, the possibilities are endless!
