MissVonroe 's Thoughts:

The Kenyan culture is of vibrance and, cheerfulness and is expressed through our clothing which is usually colourful and bold and comfy for the weather which is usually warm. when traditional clothing is worn it has a twist of modern style – like this outfit which is a summer dress made with a Kanga which has african print and usually an inspirational Swahili quote written on its edges. For accessories i added a head band made of maasai beads and leather made by a Maasai friend. Though this type of clothing is not worn often in Kenya these days it is still a special look that keeps us proud of our heritage :)
