Is that how you spell chocoholic? Well, I confess, I love chocolate. I’m obsessed with it. Okay, my obsession has died down a bit, but over the past few years, I’ve been severely addicted to it. I ate a lot every day, and I even got a cavity. Ugh, I had to have my teeth drilled. Not cool.
So what exactly is so delightful about chocolate? That creamy smooth taste that rolls in your mouth? For one thing, I hate those generic kinds of chocolate. Ever since I discovered a whole world of expensive chocolate, my tastes refuse to go back to basic Hershey’s bars. I even started my own chocolate rating blog, where I went around to different chocolate stores and rated their chocolate. Yeah, that blog kind of died because I was no expert when it came to chocolate; I didn’t know exactly what to rate except whether a chocolate tasted good or not. Movies like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Chocolat are fun to watch because there’s nothing more fun and tempting than watching a film on chocolate. After playing this SUPER ADDICTIVE video game called Chocolatier (it’s available on Yahoo! Games) where you become a chocolatier and make a successful chocolate business, I seriously wanted to become a chocolatier. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to cook or bake or anything, nor do I have any secret family recipes. So my dream of becoming a chocolatier slowly faded away. I do think about being a successful chocolatier, but the road to that dream is long and hard. Ah well. I’ll just go munch on some Harry and David Mints from Costco. Did I mention I bought 6 cans of that stuff (the cans are HUGE)?
