Only when I started listing my ensemble pieces did I realize I chose a lot of the items I purchased on a trip to Amsterdam two years prior to this photo. It must have been a subconscious act! Let me preface by declaring on that European jaunt, I got the BEST things in Amsterdam (and yes, Paris was a destination on that trip)! The boots are my ideal, perfect dream boots. I always say the trip was worth it for those boots alone! What are the chances I would find my dream boots in my size from a street vendor in Amsterdam?!? Pretty good, I guess! I also got this paisley button-down top from the same vendor. I got the hoop earrings from a vintage store in A-dam. The bag is from a thrift store in NJ (a far cry from the Netherlands, haha). I wish it was more visible. This outfit is like a modern take on the 70’s to me, even though the top and boots are from the 70’s.
NOTE: i am new to Chictopia and am trying to get in the habit of posting things everyday because, well, I love it. I am wearing a lot of great outfits in former photos, but unfortunately, there are not a lot of full-length photos that highlight my outfits. Hence, the poor quality of these pics. At the moment, most of my clothes are in storage, but I plan to make do with the ones I have and start taking current pictures – and maybe when I run through all the clothes I have with me, I’ll be able to take my other ones out of storage. I miss them terribly]!
