Yesterday we went strawberry picking for my little sister’s birthday, and it was such a lovely, therapeutic way to spend a sunny afternoon. The humid air was ripe with the heady scent of fresh fruit, and we all piled our punnets high with lazy smiles pinned across our faces.

I wore this new dress from Lavish Alice, and felt suitably whimsical and romantic as I hopped between strawberry beds. It was the hottest day that we’ve had it weeks, so I ended up shedding the denim jacket that I had pulled on just before we headed out of the door. In hindsight I had no use for it – it was definitely a day for floaty summer dresses!
