This skirt really caught my eye because of its vibrant neon color. It reminds me of that Barbie pink. By itself, it looks very sweet and girly, but depending on how you wear it, you can take it to an extreme, and create an edgy rocker look. I kept it simple this time, but I am so excited to see how else I can style it. I’m thinking I will go with a neon orange tank to really complement the skirt. By the title of this post, a fluro pink describes it dead on. I wanted the focus to be on the skirt, so black looked great. Black will always look the best with neon colors, in my opinion. It brings all of the attention to that one statement piece. It’s a simple outfit made up of mostly black and gold tones. The bag I borrowed from my mom’s closet looks vintage which I love! Speaking of vintage, I’m so proud to say that I went to my very first thrift store the other day. It obviously doesn’t have the most inviting ambiance, but I found a couple of pieces that are just so unique and different. In fact, one of them was in the lingerie section by Victoria Secret. I am planning on wearing it as a regular blouse though, maybe with a lace bandeau underneath. The other item I purchased is a beautiful black and nude crochet dress with some tassels at the bottom. I got it for only $15 and it’s officially one of my favorite dresses in my closet. I think I’m going to be one of those girls kind of obsessed with thrift/vintage stores. But then again, almost every fashionista is. You see, you really don’t have to spend a fortune to look stylish!
