I took a roadtrip from LA to SF to visit my older sister and of course, style and comfort had to find a way to meet midway for the long road ahead.
I threw on my favorite WildFox jeans and a super cozy WildFox top for the drive and we were off. Of course, no road trip is complete without a great pair of sunnies. I am super attached to my D&G aviators that I bought at Bloomingdales, I wish I had bought like 4 pairs! They fit perfectly and are so dark it’s like looking into the night through them.
Of course, it was the height of summer heat when I left LA but I knew I would be meeting a San Francisco chill when I crossed the bridge into the city, so I brought along my trusty faux leather cropped jacked that I found at Urban Outfitters to top the outfit off. A pair of comfy Dolce Vita Wedges were great for throwing on as soon as I got out of the car (I must admit, there were sandals involved in the long drive up!) P.S. these adorable shoes were scored at the Bloomingdales shoe sale, a must for shoe lovers on a budget!
My vintage Tod’s bag is my perfect travel companion. The color offsets the dark tones of the shoes & jacket and still is big enough to throw all my must haves in. My advice, find a bag that is structured, neutral and goes over the shoulder for traveling. It will go with every outfit you pack and will hold everything you need :)
