After 14-year-old Julia started a petition (see it here) against Seventeen magazine’s body retouching, Seventeen has announced the Body Peace Treaty which pledges to “never change girls’ body or face shapes” in published images and insists that they will only feature “real girls and models who are healthy.” This sounds like a great idea towards helping teens develop a healthy body image.
