The weather this past week has been crazy hot! Not a drop of rain fell from the sky, just sunny skies everyday. While I have been waiting patiently for the warm weather now that it is here it is a little hard to take as we are not used to it yet! This weekend was a long weekend here in Canada as it was Canada Day. Every time there is a long weekend in the summer in Winnipeg there is lots of events that happen around there city. Summer just isn’t long enough so there is a lot of activities to fit it! This weekend there was fireworks, street festivals and many outdoor activities. Spending a little bit of time outside in the sun I chose to wear a 50’s inspired sundress and a flower covered sun hat. When the weather is hot I can’t think of a better way to beat the heat then in a flowing dress. A hat is a must to keep the sun off my head and face. This flower cover hat I picked up recently at a local vintage store and I think it makes the perfect summer accessory!
