I have been waiting to wear this dress for what feels like forever. I knew it was my perfect dress from the minute I bought it months ago, but doesn’t it often seem to be the way that you can find the perfect dress but not the perfect occasion to wear it? So this beautiful dress stayed at the back of my wardrobe, waiting for it’s time to shine….
Until this weekend, it finally got it! My housemate turned 21 on Sunday and to celebrate we all decided to go for afternoon tea at Harvey Nichols. Even though I spend a lot of my life dressing, I really don’t spend that much time dressing up, especially not in something as beautiful and girly as this, so it was a bit of a treat to put this on, twirl around and flounce down the street like a proper girl for a change! To top it all off, my housemates all wore dresses with the same matching sticky-out sillhouette, so we all co-ordinated, and could strutt down the street as if we were on a catwalk! I think it’s safe to say that it was one of those very rare, perfect outfit moments!
