giving in

i know i keep going on about the cold, but it’s impossible to ignore in this city. i’m currently entertaining the thought of relocating someplace warm during the winters.

i’m also not sure about the length of this coat. i wish it was just a tad shorter? …and that the clip/fastener things actually worked.

in other news, my new favorite pieces:

sheer pocket tees from express. let’s face it, sheer anything (even silk) will deteriorate quickly, so why bother with $80 kain tees when you can get it for less at express.

more chic for cheap: black stretch denim with zip ankles. where from? target. ok, the elastic waist and faded black fabric does not look good when it’s hanging from a plastic hanger, but upon further investigation, i’ve concluded that the fit is amazing— skinny legs that bunch and define in all the right places, enough stretch to mold to your body, and the abence of zippers, gromets and pockets to reduce bulk around the waist. i just ordered my second (back-up) pair.
