Today, I went to lunch with my dear friend Ellen. I don’t know how many of you went to community college (as opposed to university), but it can be hard to make friends there, so I consider myself very lucky to have a friend like Elle, who I still talk to 3 years later!

Even though I work on the weekends, I can’t help but feel good on Friday. Maybe it’s vicarious joy, but usually my husband is around more and so are my friends, family, etc. And everyone is in a good mood! Tomorrow, I will go garage sale-ing with my dad, then head to work for a couple hours, then it’s dinner with my in-laws (they are lovely people!) Sunday will be dinner with my dad, after work.
