I absolutely loved the Prada SS12 show.
The 50’s pastel colours, bandeau top, midi skirt and retro lipstick, fire and car motifs.
I was sooo excited to find this skirt and top at Primark of all places as I’d been keeping my eye out everywhere hoping to find something like it.
I’m wearing it with little gold wedges as I am wearing it in the day and had alot of walking to do in the evening if not I think I would of paired it with my red pointed shoes to enhance the car print and match my lipstick.
I have accessorised it with vintage style enamel rose studs and a vintage clasp crystal necklace echoing the Prada accessories too!! (Obsessed, Yes!!).
The necklace is one of my most precious items as it use to belong to my grandmother, (on my mother’s side) who was called Stella. I was never lucky enough to meet her so when I wear it, it gives me a pleasant comforting feeling and I am so grateful my mother betrusted it to me.
(I feel this outfit is wearable to so many occassions: shopping, bridal shower, baby shower, christening lunch date, brunch, a day date with the boyfriend, a day out with the girls or for afternoon tea.)
P.S. I also love wearing this pale shade of yellow. I just find there is something cheerfull and soothing about it!!!
