Purple Pleats

…I just got back from two amazing weeks spent travelling around central and northern Italy. A beautiful country with amazing food and more importantly quality time spent with the boyfriend – bliss
Of all the cities we visited, Florence was a favourite. It has everything, an old worldly feel but at the same time a cosmopolitan vibe. A gorgeous river which if you walk along far enough, takes you to a huge park – Parco Delle Cascine.
Streets and streets of shops, with the essentials – ZARA, H&M and the not so essential – Chanel, Miu Miu and Celine.
The breathtakingly beautiful Duomo Cathedral, Roberto Cavalli’s fabulous Caffe Giacosa which does a mean cappucino,a Gucci museum and some wonderful cake shops…are you sold yet?!
The weather there was perfect, hot and sunny with some cloudy days to cool us down. I opted for a cream camisole with a pleated purple skirt and my comfy black sandals on day 1, i totally underestimated the weather and burnt my shoulders. Suncream is a must kids!
