Chasing Beauty :)

Sometimes life takes you to unpleasant places… that may lead to very beautiful places…

Akio and I were invited to retreat to a gorgeous Southern resort after some very traumatizing events we experienced in our family. Visiting the deep southern parts of Virginia many times in my childhood, I knew it was gon’ get a lil dirty down there! I don’t own many pairs of tennis but fortunately I had a pair of “chucks” laying around, which I’d previously embellished with Betsy Johnson inspired designs, so it wasn’t all bad news. I also decided to turn a very plain basic Forever 21 day dress into a funky asymmetrical maxi. Dirt roads can’t contain a fashionista… :)
