Polka Dot Chic

For a classic girl like me, polka dot dresses (polka dot anything) are a must in my wardrobe. They remind me of the 50’s, especially, if I find a fit and flare style like the one I’m wearing. There’s just something so classy and chic about a black and white color combo on a retro style. No, it’s not groundbreaking, but I have a genuine appreciation for classic styles and color combinations.

Last year, I was gifted this dress by Evans for FFFWeek. However, the dress didn’t come in time so, I thought this spring/summer would be the perfect time to break it out. I did wear it last year with a denim jacket and pink heels for a somewhat dressed down look, but, this time, I wanted to wear the dress as it was with minimal extras. Of course, I love my pops of colors so I teamed the dress up with my yellow ankle strap heels, black and white lace clutch, and my nearly deteriorating patent leather belt.
