But I don’t have time to save nobody else.
I tune out voices when they talk.
I say I care, but they do not know they walk the walk.
I got no job, I got no dream.
I’m black or white, but I can’t stand the in between.
And now I’m confused on top of it all,
I was ready to lose, and ready to fall,
And something about the way that you look at me
Makes it feel okay,
Make it feel okay.
I’m self-absorbed, and I don’t care.
I’m all bruised up, and I don’t think that life is fair.
I build up walls no one can climb.
And I tear them down – this process takes up all my time.
And now I’m confused on top of it all,
I was ready to lose and ready to fall,
But then something about the way that you look at me
Makes it feel okay,
Make it feel okay.
Wore this on a busy Wednesday preparing for our show tomorrow with 13 other talented designers at FABRIC at Embassy Fly at 9pm. We’ll be presenting a sneak peek (a sneak sneak peek) at our up and coming Spring/Summer 2009 collection. I wore a pearl detail Zara top that had a cropped sleeve detail to balance the delicate pearls with a sequined Glitterati ballerina skirt. I layered pearl necklaces since it seemed to match my top and I felt opulent and very Victorian today. Added my ombre chain bag and Topshop shoes to finish it off.
Cheers! Hope it works! I cannot wait for spring!!! I love all the colors.. finally! HERE WE COME… IN PRAISE OF THE SUN!!! xx
