I think its almost a guilty pleasure whenever I look at american apparel ads. Its so erotic it makes me feel like I'm looking at porn and I get really embarassed when someone sees me.

After I recieved an email from American Apparel about the debut of their cape, I knew I had to buy it. I have been looking for a cape with arm holes for awhile and though I was originally looking for a coat version, this sweatshirt material will suffice.

I don’t know about everyone else here, but I have a love/hate relationship with American apparel. I love their clothes, material, and colors, but hate how everything is too short, oversexified and overpriced (not to mention everything there looks so simple that even I can make it). When I bought this cape, I rationalized with myself and said that not am I buying a cape, I’m buying a potential fabric pattern, too. We’ll see if I actually make this since I haven’t been able to find the right fabric yet.
