




I’ve been busy at the work station with DIY projects, so what better way to showcase than in one posting. (ok not all of them, just 2).
‘spine’ cutout tee and studded boots.
as you can see, it doesn’t look like a spine but i’m pretty satisfied with the way it turned out. i took inspiration from camille’s pleasure of principle blog entry. after completion, i thought the front of the shirt was too plain so i made a modification by making holes in the front also.
my studded boots take inspiration from the $400 free people studded boots. for some reason i thought the studs were gold, so I sprayed some gold studs with bronzer so they wouldn’t be so ‘jingle bell looking’. even after realizing the studs are actually silver, i’m still really happy with the way my boots turned out, even the wooden looking heel. it gives it something extra i think.
