Oversized

It’s not often that I put new pieces together in an outfit, like I did on Sunday. I usually wear a mix of old and new, but you can actually recreate this outfit because except for the bag and the sunglasses, everything is still on sale. Surprising, really.

The title came from the fact that I wore both oversize sunglasses and also oversized fluffy top. You will be seeing this kind of ensemble more this winter, it seems to be my go-to outfit in winter time. I know I will be piling on the layers, starting with oversized knits and scarves and cute beanies; but the key is to balance the silhouette with skinny jeans or cute leggings or skirts. I mean it’s too easy to look like a marshmallow in this top, even though I must admit this is one of the softest fluffy top I’ve had in years! It’s tough working in a lab, it’s always far too cold inside but you can’t wear fluffy jacket under your lab coat because it restricts your move. Ahhh the dilemma.
