Couple days ago, I blenched a Acne shirt, you must think I am crazy to tie dye a decent Acne Shirt. I would have thought so, too, if I was you! But let me explain: a few months ago I found a all black button-down shirt in a thrift store for $1.99. It had what looked like a bleached spot in the front — you guess that’s why the ex-owner gave it up, right? But the reason I bought it was that the moment I saw it, I really wanted to dye it in different colors or many colors :)
So yesterday I wore my new DIY tie-dye Acne shirt for a walk, and really like its uniqueness and enjoyed a little bit of a sense of achievement. Couldn’t help when I got back home but do another DIY project in the afternoon; this time it was a tie-dye pair of denim shorts. When Bob saw the shorts after he got home, he was shaking his head and said, “Sometimes less is more!” lol….What’s he mean by that?! For me, sometimes too much is not enough!
