Yesterday I wore my new top from THE WHITEPEPPER, a great indie boutique on Chictopia Shop that carries small designer clothing and vintage. It’s a peasant top, which I normally dislike, but a classic white peasant top is just what I need for my closet since it’s so versatile. It’s great quality and has bell sleeves, a low embroidered detailing on the front, and buttons down the back. I’ve also got on my shaggy coat that I got a while ago from Crossroads. I’m not sure if it’s vintage because it was in really good quality, but it was cheap ($20) and exactly what I was looking for!
This weekend I went to the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the de Young museum. It was definitely worth it and way over the top compared to the YSL exhibit I went to a few years ago. I was even a little tired at the end of it because of every room being condensed with a lot of Gaultier’s vivid and wild phases. There’s nothing that I find cooler than “gender bending” clothes so I was pretty interested in everything that we saw there. Afterwards the BF, roomie, another friend and I went to an “Antique Paper” sale at Golden Gate Park which was pretty cool albeit really random. The BF enjoyed that 10x more than the Gaultier exhibit.
Hope everyone’s having a good week!
