The neon trend is one of those fashion moments that has scared me since I first saw it in Vogue. I mean, neon? It just makes me think of the many Primark trips I made in my first year of Uni to buy flourescent leg warmers etc. for rave-themed nights out! In a nutshell, I have always thought of it as one of those trends that comes around every so often that I will always avoid! BUT that was until I learnt this year’s neon secret…..it doesn’t have to be in-your-face, 80s fame-esque, I-just-coloured-myself-in-with-a-highlighter neon! It can be more subtle, with icier or even more pastel-like shades rather than full-on flourescent!

These jeans are the perfect example of wearable neon – a pale ice-lemon shade and wearable skinny style but with a bit of a neon zing! I love them! Paired with an equally cool pale neon orange, I feel like it’s the perfect sorbet-coloured combination! What do you think?
