First came the littlest Jizo, from a drawing I made years back. Then the tall one. Why call the middle one the “original” size? It just didn’t feel right calling them by the words that Starbuck’s uses for sizing of coffee; and Buddhist protectors usually come in one size fits all, I guess.
They have found their way into a wonderful gallery in Studio City, CA called Love Champ Gallery. If you know anyone in the area, send them! They are having a Spring Art Walk tomorrow from 10-6 on Ventura Boulevard — send your friends who might be nearby!
