I’ve always liked that “school girl” kind of look. The preppy school look looks good on guys too! A fitted blazer, white oxford shirt, and a bowtie/tie give off that professional feel and gives you a very polished and clean silhouette.
This morning I woke up and started with my white oxford as a blank canvas. I added my grey bowtie (which I made MYSELF!!). I figured that it’d be a little chilly, but I had no idea what jacket I was going to wear. There isn’t really a coat that I wear that would match the whole shirt and bowtie look. Until I remembered that I had this amazing navy blazer jacket that I got from Hong Kong. The neckline for this jacket is kind of odd so I never wore it. But it fit perfectly over my collar and bowtie!
I appreciate the little details in an outfit. Though you can’t see it, my buttons actually have an intricate emblem design on them. I cuffed up my sleeves to fit my arm length as well as to show off the striped lining, and I added my bow hair tie to match my bowtie and add a feminine touch. :)
Yeah thats right. Flooding can be fashionable. I threw on some heart crew socks to add contrast to my shoes and to add a quirky surprise to my rather polished outfit. And my goodness, I love these saddle shoes. Can you believe they were only $20? Oh the benefits of shopping at the Urban surplus store. :) I think they were originally like $60 or something. When I tried them on in the store, I was worried that the brightness of the cream and the light brown wouldn’t match anything but they actually match a lot of my clothing.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading!
