So here are the second styling I did for the Rawmower Style Challenge, and I adopted the trend pastel that everyone must be familiar with. I must admit that this photoshoot was more challenging than usual. To start with, the piece that I had was about two sizes too big, and I didn’t want to pin or bulldog-clip it because it wouldn’t keep the shape properly. So with a bit of tugging and pulling while taking pictures, we managed to create these shots. Also because everything I was going to style it with ended up looking pretty awkward and ill-proportioned. Let me know what you think though, I’m pretty satisfied with the results but yeah they could be better. But then again it’s very rare I am truly satisfied. After all, most of the time the pictures came out with my eyes half-closed and mouth opened. Sexy.
This satin UK designer Charlotte Taylor top is a delicate one. I love the peter pan collar and the soft pastel tone, and the print is adorable. Two fishermen, how unusual! This piece is definitely a day-to-night piece. I styled it as a corporate piece, paired with pencil skirt and blazer. The soft silhouette is really feminine, and pairing it with a pair of jeans would be another option. It’s definitely a versatile shirt to have in your wardrobe. Though it being satin means careful ironing, which I personally loathe. You gotta check out more of Charlotte Taylor pieces though, she’s well known for her quirky prints and her pieces will be great for print-mixing! And her website is really adorable, so hopefully Rawmowe will be bringing more of her pieces into their store!
