Mixing a bright shade with a paler shade in the same hue is one of my favorite ways to tie together a look when there’s a lot of textural elements “going on.” I usually shy away from bright yellow but this jacket is too awesome to pass up with its zippers (I’m easily amused). The zipper all the way around makes the jacket super versatile; it can be a regular blazer when it’s all the way zipped, an interesting detail when it’s half-zipped, and it can be a cropped jacket as a light topper for summer nights. Definite something I would pack for a weekend (or week) vacation!

Hope everyone else’s Easter weekend’s going to be more relaxing than mine! ;)
