… spring has come.
Although spring has sprung the temperature has dipped again and clouds are looming in the corners of the sky. It’s about time we had some rain, it would make a nice change, the sun makes my skin burn and my head ache. Although I do still love basking in afternoon sunshine or going for picnics in lovely parks with deer roaming free, eating fresh scones and carrot cake slices on little hillocks, under grand old trees.
I found this hat in the dusty corner of a sweet little antique shop in Kingston. It’s brim was all twisted and made of rusty old wire but I pulled it out and flattened the hat with my heaviest books. The ribbons trailing off the back of the hat are my favourite feature.
