I fell in love with this dress at a designer sale in London, it’s so beautiful I have been almost afraid to wear it! However the presence of lace and broderie anglaise in the S/S shows together with the justification for my own collar and trinket fetish made up my mind for a brunch date in March.
The shirt was made for me by a bespoke designer friend of mine, Lucy and the vintage rhubarb & custard sweeties I found online to match my hair (ridiculous but true!).
The owl necklace is one of my regular favourites, and the amethyst pendulum I fell in love with when browsing St Albans fantastic market. The diamante pin in the button hole (you can just about see it) is actually a bracelet.
The skirt of the dress is actually made fuller by a ruffled skirt underneath, and this combined with the shirt and socks serve to keep me cosy despite the crisp spring breeze!
