Handmade in Los Angeles, and designed by Valerie Johns, Chibi dangles from a chain with a white topaz, like a star to make a wish upon.
While I have plastered Chibi’s story all over the internet it is the Japanese anime figures that most folks are familiar with. They are not related, other than I lived in Japan during middle school, before anime.
I started making my Chibi in paintings over 20 years ago, when I was new at being a psychotherapist. Chibi was the figure who left the room when the grown-ups were yelling or critical.
