Over winter break, I had the pleasure to go to the American Apparel factory in L.A. to shoot an ad they wanted to do with Chictopia! I got to mix current AA items with vintage finds from their California Select collection and man, did they have some AMAZING vintage. The shoot was incredibly fun and I’d like to give a shout out to Shawn and Mae for making it all possible!

After the shoot, Shawn took me on a tour of the factory, which is HUGE. I got to see everything from hard working sewers putting together the ubiquitous oversized cardi to the hospital they provide for their workers and even strolling by CEO Dov Charney’s office. And of course afterward, I went downstairs to the factory store and did a little damage to my bank account.
It was an amazing day and I’m so happy for the opportunity and can’t wait for the campaign to come out! Which I was told, would be very soon! So stay tuned because you’ll be seeing it here first!
